Abraham-Louis Breguet was not only a technical pioneer but also a visionary who sought to democratize precision timekeeping. These historic innovations inspired the Tradition collection, launched in 2005, characterised by its open architecture that reveals the intricate mechanics typically only seen by watchmakers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The latest Tradition 7035 pays tribute to this legacy with two proprietary colours: Breguet gold and Breguet blue. Its 38 mm case is forged from Breguet gold, a unique alloy of gold, silver, copper, and palladium, radiating a warm glow. Silver-toned gears, blued screws, and ruby-red jewels provide vibrant contrast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The dial features an intricate guilloch\u00e9 motif called Quai de l\u2019Horloge, rendered in deep translucent grand feu enamel. Silver Breguet numerals, a stylised fleur-de-lis minute track, and a unique serial number at 4 o\u2019clock stand out beautifully against the shimmering blue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guilloch\u00e9, first used by A.-L. Breguet to structure dial displays, is still central to the brand\u2019s artistry. The new pattern is inspired by the flow of the Seine around \u00cele de la Cit\u00e9 and \u00cele Saint-Louis, using contours from the 18th-century Turgot map of Paris.<\/p>\n\n\n

The caseback reveals more elegance: a crescent-shaped platinum rotor spins over satin-finished bridges and a shot-blasted mainplate. The discreet \u201cPt950\u201d engraving signifies premium quality and a respectful nod to the Maison\u2019s heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
