To celebrate its 160th anniversary, ZENITH presents the G.F.J., an exclusive timepiece that revives the legendary Calibre 135 in a modern interpretation. Limited to just 160 pieces, this watch pays tribute to its founder, Georges Favre-Jacot, while honoring the brand\u2019s long-standing journey in watchmaking.<\/span><\/p>\n

A Blend of Heritage and Innovation<\/b><\/h3>\n

The G.F.J. draws inspiration from the Calibre 135, a movement that dominated chronometry competitions at various observatories worldwide. Designed by Ephrem Jobin in 1949, the Calibre 135-O won 235 chronometry awards, making it one of the most celebrated movements in history.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now, ZENITH brings this legacy back with a modern touch. The original dimensions and aesthetics remain intact, but advanced technology has been integrated to enhance performance. With a 72-hour power reserve, an optimised gear train, and a stop-seconds mechanism for greater accuracy, the new Calibre 135 remains faithful to its precision-driven heritage while being equipped for the future.<\/span><\/p>\n

The G.F.J. is designed with vintage aesthetics, enhanced by contemporary elements. Its 39mm platinum case features a stepped bezel and curved lugs, creating a slim and elegant silhouette. The crown, engraved with the initials G.F.J., serves as a signature element reinforcing its identity.<\/span><\/p>\n

Beneath the sapphire glass box, the watch\u2019s dial showcases ZENITH\u2019s iconic blue colour combined with luxurious materials. The outer ring features a “brick” guilloch\u00e9 pattern, inspired by the fa\u00e7ade of the ZENITH Manufacture. The central part is crafted from deep blue Lapis Lazuli, with natural gold-coloured pyrite flecks reminiscent of a starry sky. The oversized seconds subdial at 6 o\u2019clock is made from mother-of-pearl, offering a refined yet striking contrast.<\/span><\/p>\n

The ZENITH G.F.J. comes with three strap options: dark blue alligator leather, black calfskin leather, and blue Saffiano calfskin leather. Each strap is paired with a platinum pin buckle, engraved with the “brick” pattern and G.F.J. initials. As an additional option, the watch is also available with a seven-row platinum bracelet featuring “brick” pattern embossing on the center links.<\/span><\/p>\n
