Hublot once again brings outstanding innovation with the latest version of the Big Bang Meca-10. First launched in 2016, this model has become one of Hublot’s icons thanks to its modern materials, edgy skeleton movement, and an impressive 10-day power reserve.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Now, following the trend of smaller watches, Hublot introduces a more compact and ergonomic version with a 42mm diameter compared to its predecessor’s 45mm size.<\/span><\/p>\n

A More Compact and Comfortable Design<\/b><\/h3>\n

The latest version of the Hublot Big Bang Meca-10 comes with dimensions of 42mm x 13.9mm, making it smaller than the previous 45mm x 15.8mm model. Despite the size reduction, this watch retains the signature design of the Big Bang Meca-10. This new model is available in three different materials: King Gold, titanium, and lightweight frosted carbon. With a water resistance rating of up to 100 meters, this watch remains durable for various activities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Updated Skeleton Movement<\/b><\/h3>\n

To accommodate the smaller size, Hublot developed a new version of its architectural movement. The mechanism maintains its skeletonized design with a “mecano” aesthetic, showcasing an openworked structure that highlights its technical components. On the dial, the small seconds are positioned at 9 o\u2019clock, the balance wheel at 7 o\u2019clock, and the rack and pinion system at 12 o\u2019clock.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

One of the significant updates is the power reserve display. Now, the power reserve indicator is digitally displayed at 3 o\u2019clock via an advanced differential mechanism. Two superimposed disks rotate in opposite directions, connected by a spiral spring at their center. The last two days of power reserve are highlighted in red as a reminder to wind the watch.<\/span><\/p>\n

The back of the watch continues to showcase two skeletonized barrels mounted in series under three parallel bridges with a more refined decoration. The satin-brushed and chamfered finishing, done by hand, adds a luxurious touch, with colors matching the case material.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The balance wheel frequency remains at 21,600 vph, which is ideal for supporting the ultra-long 10-day power reserve. Additionally, the watch features a silicon escape wheel and a stop-second mechanism for precise time setting.<\/span><\/p>\n

Practical Interchangeable Strap System<\/b><\/h3>\n

The Hublot Big Bang Meca-10 King Gold and titanium versions come with a classic striated black rubber strap and a folding buckle made of 18K King Gold or black-plated titanium. Meanwhile, the lightweight frosted carbon version is fitted with a black fabric strap with a Velcro fastening system. Thanks to the one-click interchangeable strap system, users can easily switch straps without additional tools, allowing for seamless personalization.<\/span><\/p>\n
