The skeletonised hands are clearly discernible against the black, although given the lack of minute markings, perfect readability has never been the primary focus of this Panerai design. The negative display date window is perfectly incorporated, helping to balance the sub-seconds display at 9 o’clock.<\/p>\n
The luminous paint, which is really two-toned to distinguish the hour and minute hands after dark, appears to have a very little touch of faux-patina ageing to it, as the printed white sections of the dial, such as the Panerai logo, automated lettering, and markers on the subdial, appear a bit brighter.<\/p>\n
