Panerai<\/a>, The Italian watchmakers’ manufacturers in Switzerland, is known as the OG oversized watch in the industry. Starting the trend in the 1990s, Panerai still makes plenty of oversized watches models that come in at 47mm, which is a part of Panerai\u2019s watchmaking DNA.<\/p>\n

But they also want to take their market wider, with the watch model smaller than 47mm. One of the watch models that come with a smaller size is The Panerai Luminor Due series, and it was introduced in 2016; in 2018, they brought the first 38mm, models under this collection.<\/p>\n

With the Luminor Due series, Panerai targeted women to the brand, and this model is slimmer than their tools, making them more suitable for formal occasions. To make it slimmer, Panerai introduced a new calibre called the P.4002 with a smaller size but still has the same features as their larger calibre.<\/p>\n

One of the Panerai Luminor, Due Series models is PAM00964, which comes with a 45mm titanium case. While this isn\u2019t Panerai\u2019s first 45mm watch, the Due actually introduced 45mm cases to the brand. The dial is similar to the aforementioned that has a blue dial with its sandwich construction.<\/p>\n

This blue dial comes with beige numerals and Arabic numerals on 6 and 12. The central gold hands and the sub-seconds hand, hour index markers, and Arabic numerals have all undergone a luminescent coating for enhanced legibility.<\/p>\n

Mounted to these cases is a contrasting polished titanium fixed bezel. They also include the Luminor Marina style winding crown protection with the setting-crown nestled within. All topped by a sapphire crystal that also assists with water resistance reaching up to 30 meters (98 feet).<\/p>\n

The Luminor Due Series in house P.4002 calibre is an automatic movement that features a micro-rotor, GMT function, am\/pm display at 9:00, and power reserve display on the dial, showing a scale of up to 72 hours. This is the most complicated model in the Due series, as it comes with a GMT function.<\/p>\n
